We’ve all seen the lists, we’ve all thought, “I should really read that someday,” but for all of us, there are still books on “The List” that we haven’t actually gotten around to reading. Even though we know they’re fabulous. Even though we know that we’ll like them. Or that we’ll learn from them. Or just that they’re supposed to be worthy. We just … haven’t gotten around to them yet.
What’s the best book that YOU haven’t read yet?
This is a good question!I'm only going to list 3 because my TBR pile is huge. I feel almost haunted by the books I know are good on my TBR pile. Every time I rearrange my TBR pile, Winter Haven sits front and center, taunting me to read it. I don' t even know why I'm so sure it's good. Won't I be disappointed if it isn't? Daisy Chain is a new release I can't wait to
read. Picoult? Well, she's always at the top of my TBR list. I should just go ahead and add Handle With Care to the list.
Best known for tackling controversial issues through richly told fictional accounts, Jodi Picoult's 14th novel, Nineteen Minutes, deals with the truth and consequences of a smalltown high-school shooting. Set in Sterling, New Hampshire, Picoult offers reads a glimpse of what would cause a 17-year-old to wake up one day, load his backpack with four guns, and kill nine students and one teacher in the span of nineteen minutes. As with any Picoult novel, the answers are never black and white, and it is her exceptional ability to blur the lines between right and wrong that make this author such a captivating storyteller.
The abrupt disappearance of young Daisy Chance haunts the small town of Defiance, Texas. Fourteen-year-old Jed Pepper searches for answers in this gritty and compelling story of love and sorrow, revealing God’s hand of redemption in impossible situations. Lyrical fiction from a bright new literary talent.

I loved Nineteen Minutes, you should definitely read that one soon.

I haven't read anything by Jodi Picoult! I'm a little embarrassed to say that, especially after reading rave reviews of her works all over the place. I just worry that I'll be too sad when I'm finished with them! And more often than not, I read to escape. I'm sure I'll add her to the list, though! :)
I find Picoult's books sad, but have enjoyed the ones I've read - Vanishing Acts and Keeping Faith.
I don't know the other books.
I really enjoyed Winter Haven, CeeCee. Hope you get to it soon.
I have not read any of Jodi Piccoutl's books. Loved Winter Haven.
I'm sorry you feel 'haunted' by your TBR list Cee Cee. But would you have it any other way? I'm guessing No! :o)
Good luck with working your way through it.
Warmest
Rob
