My Thoughts: If you’re in the mood to read; but do not want to commit to a full-length novel, Heartsong Presents’ 176 page books are a great choice. You pretty much can satisfy your need to read a good story in one sitting.
Cecelia Dowdy again offers a satisfying read in Milk Money. The author seamlessly wove interesting themes like addictions, forgiveness, being financially smart, trust, and learning to lean on God especially during difficult times through the plot.
My only concern is I wanted the heroine to wait a while longer for her happily ever after. I know that category romances require an HEA ending, but the characters did not convince me all was well enough yet. You’ll have to read the book to find out what I’m talking about.
I’ll be on the look out for more novels written by Cecelia Dowdy in the future.
