Spring Reading Thing Challenge

Yes, I'm joining the Spring Reading Thing challenge at Callapider Days as well as the Christian Fiction TBR challenge.

Why? To get a handle on my towering TBR pileS. Emphasis on the "s".

See, I have a problem: if I haven't read or finished reading a book it can not go on my Already Read book shelf. This shelf is neat and orderly. I crave neat and orderly. But I don't see neat and orderly, I see piles!

So, I figure the challenges will help me reach my goal.

So here's my list:

Revealed by Tamera Alexander
A Bigger Life by Annette Smith-done
Zora’s Cry by Tia McCollors
In High Places by Tom Morrisey -done
Defiance
by Don Brown
Orchard of Hope by Ann H. Gabhart
Ransomed Dreams by Amy Wallace-done
In the Company of Secrets by Judith Miller
Snitch by Rene Gutteridge-done
Northern Hearts by Paige Lee Elliston-done
Frasier Island by Susan Paige Davis
These Boots Were Made for Walking by Melody Carlson -done
Beloved Enemy
by Terri Reed

EXTRA
The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Tough by Neta Jackson-done
Crime and Clutter-by Cyndy Salzmann-done
A Shelter in the Storm by Debra White Smith-done
Perfecting Kate by Tamara Leigh-done

Finish the Almost-Read

Bride Most Begrudging (only a couple more pages left) Rel don't scold me.
FreeFall by Kristen Heitzmann , Rel don't scold me.
Chateau of Echoes by Siri Mitchell
Abiding Darkness by John Aubrey Anderson (only a couple pages left) Rel don't scold me.

Mainstream Fiction

Pomegranate Soup by Marsha Mehran

Hehehehe!!!! I was going to ask about Abiding Darkness. Loved all in your Almost-read pile. As for your other list, get into it, my friend;-)I too have Northern Lights and A Bigger Life to read but I am sure you will enjoy the others. Haven't read Judith Miller's, Melody Carlson's or Terri Reed's. Looking forward to your thoughts. No scolding, ever - LOL!

You will so love Scoop. I laughed myself silly.

I think I should join in the fun. I have a few gazillion books I need to read.

Rel: Awwl, I was looking forward to an Aussie scolding. LOL.

CeCe: I scolded you, Miss Missy on your blog! LOL.

I hear wonderful things about Scoop, I can't wait to read it!

Deborah: That is frustrating. Hmph. Looking forward to your review of both books.

Yeah. I was getting ready to say ha ha fatso, then I read something else the second time...in the words of Everyone Loves Raymond, his mother, " I don't like that Deborah." Ha Ha your name is even Deborah! Deborah is a character on the show.

have you read any of Karen Kingsbury's books? if so based on the type of books i've read, do you think i'd like them? i've been thinking about giving her a try but i don't know if they are my type of books. they're very popular at our library so i was curious. thanks!

Deborah, you are too funny!

Now I've only heard ONE comment from someone I know personally that her books are a little soap opera-ish. Well, you know I don't mind that if I'm in the mood. Now hearing from her LEGIONS of fans, AND her New York Times Bestselling status (think Oscar), she's the BOMB.

Now, to answer your question: I've not read her yet, she's starting a new series based on old characters in May? I'm going to read it because I've been dying to read her work.
